Mechanical Technician

Job Purpose The Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure the proper operation of equipment and facilities for Fire fighting systems.

Direct Role:

- Installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical fire systems, such as sprinkler systems and pumps.

- Performing periodic inspections and ensuring proper system operation.

- Diagnosing and repairing fire system malfunctions.

- Implementing preventative maintenance to ensure effective system operation.

Job Competencies:

1. Required Education:

Associate or technical degree.

1. Required Knowledge:

• - Experience in firefighting systems such as fire pipes, sprinklers, pumps, etc.
• - Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair.

1. Required Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Track record of excellent customer service.

1.4 Required Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in Maintenance Technician.
