MEP Technical Office Team Leader

Responsibilities

* Lead and manage the MEP engineering team throughout project execution.

* Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of MEP shop drawings.

* Coordinate with architectural, structural, and site teams to resolve design and construction conflicts.

* Ensure all MEP drawings comply with contract documents, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards.

* Review and approve shop drawing submissions before consultant/client submission.

* Monitor engineering deliverables to ensure timely project execution.

* Provide technical guidance and support to MEP engineers and technical staff.

* Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

* Resolve technical issues arising during construction and installation.

* Ensure proper documentation, drawing revisions, and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

* Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP engineering within a contracting company.

* Proven experience managing MEP shop drawings and leading engineering teams.

* Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and coordination with electrical systems.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.

* Experience with Revit MEP and BIM coordination is an advantage.

* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
