About the Role
We're looking for a Motion Designer who's excited to blend strong motion fundamentals with modern AI-assisted workflows. You'll create scroll-stopping animations for ads, social, brand campaigns, and product storiesmoving fast from concept to polished deliverables. 3D skills are a big plus (but not required).
What You'll Do
- Design and animate 2D motion graphics for paid ads, social media, web, product, and brand campaigns
- Turn creative briefs into storyboards, styleframes, animatics, and final motion pieces
- Use AI tools to accelerate ideation and production (e.g., generating concepts/style references, creating/cleaning assets, rotoscoping, upscaling, background extension, content-aware edits, rapid variations)
- Create multiple versions of assets for different formats (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) and performance iterations
- Collaborate with designers, copywriters, marketers, and editors to deliver on brand and on deadline
- Build reusable templates and maintain an organized project + asset library
- Ensure exports meet platform specs, performance needs, and brand guidelines
What We're Looking For (Must-Haves)
- 2+ years (or equivalent) motion design experience with a strong portfolio
- Strong command of Adobe After Effects (and comfort with Premiere Pro or similar)
- Great eye for timing, typography, composition, pacing, and visual storytelling
- Comfort working with brand systems and adapting style across different campaigns
- Practical experience using AI tools in a production workflow (not just experimenting)
- Solid communication, file hygiene, and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves)
- 3D is a plus: Blender, Cinema 4D, Unreal, Houdini, or similar (basic modeling, lighting, animation, camera moves, rendering)
- 3D rendering engines (Octane / Redshift / Cycles) and compositing 3D into AE
- Character rigging, cel animation, or advanced compositing/VFX
- Expressions, scripting, plugins, or workflow automation
- Lottie / web animation experience
AI Expectations (How You'll Use It)
- Use AI to speed up iteration, generate options, and improve production efficiencywhile maintaining a high bar for craft
- Apply good judgment around copyright/IP, brand safety, and ethical use
- Document workflows and share repeatable AI recipes (prompts, settings, pipelines) with the team
Tools We Use (or Similar)

AI tools may include: Adobe Firefly, Runway, Midjourney/Stable Diffusion, Pika, Topaz (or equivalents)
