Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced NOC & Application Monitoring Manager to oversee the monitoring of production systems, applications, and infrastructure using observability tooling.
Responsibilities
- Monitor all production systems, applications, and infrastructure on a 24/7 basis using observability tooling.
- Manage Network Operations Centre (NOC) activities to ensure real-time visibility of system availability and performance.
- Detect, triage, and escalate incidents, and execute first-line runbooks in accordance with defined operational playbooks.
- Produce daily and weekly operational health reports, including tracking and escalating Service Level Objective (SLO) breaches and recurring incident patterns.
- Establish and operate observability and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices across applications and infrastructure.
- Enable proactive monitoring, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of system reliability and performance.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in NOC, Application Monitoring, IT Operations, or a similar role.
- Experience monitoring production systems, applications, and infrastructure.
- Experience managing Network Operations Centre (NOC) activities.
- Experience using observability tooling.
- Experience detecting, triaging, and escalating incidents.
- Experience executing first-line runbooks and operational playbooks.
- Experience producing operational health reports and tracking Service Level Objective (SLO) breaches.
- Experience establishing or operating observability and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
- Experience performing root cause analysis and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
