Role Purpose:

The Operations & Business Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously enhancing a comprehensive compliance and operational governance framework for Apex. The role ensures full regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and governance across the business. This position combines regulatory oversight, operational leadership, risk management, and cross-functional coordination to support sustainable and compliant business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Governance & Compliance Framework

  • Manager the compliance and operational governance frameworks
  • Establish clear procedures, defined roles and responsibilities, and internal control mechanisms.
  • Monitor adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements across projects and business functions.
  • Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.

Regulatory & Licensing Management

  • Lead implementation, renewal, and regulatory compliance of all business licenses, commercial registrations, and statutory approvals.
  • Ensure timely submissions and adherence to relevants regulations.
  • Manage subscriptions and registrations across relevant government portals and regulatory platforms.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and renewal tracking mechanisms.

Operational Oversight & Office Management

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations and facilities management.
  • Coordinate maintenance, vendor supervision, and workspace optimization.
  • Ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Manage logistics, procurement tracking, and contract compliance to ensure business continuity.

Process Improvement & Risk Management

  • Evaluate and continuously improve operational processes and workflows.
  • Identify inefficiencies and risk exposure and implement structured mitigation plans.
  • Standardise processes to drive efficiency and consistency.

Cross-Functional Operational Support

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams under leadership direction.
  • Partner with department heads to understand business objectives and operational challenges.
  • Proactively implement solutions that enhance performance and compliance.
  • Support daily operational management to ensure alignment with business goals and service excellence standards.

IT & Data Governance Oversight

  • Manage IT asset inventory.
  • Coordinate with third-party IT service providers.
  • Ensure regulatory data protection compliance and system reliability.

Corporate Events & Engagement

  • Plan and coordinate internal corporate events and operational initiatives.
  • Manage employee engagement activities in alignment with the HR team

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, HR, or related field.
  • 610 years of experience in operations, compliance, governance, or business administration.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE and Saudi regulatory environment and licensing processes.
  • Experience within professional services or consulting environments preferred.
