Operations Supervisor – Pilot CO₂ Capture & Liquefaction Plant
6-month fixed-term contract, full-time, site-based (Fujairah, UAE). Supports a time-bound pilot project demonstrating safe, reliable, industrial-scale CO₂ capture and liquefaction operations.
Role
- Supervise daily plant operations, ensuring adherence to procedures and performance targets
- Oversee operators/contractors during shifts; manage start-up, shutdown, and mode transitions
- Monitor and optimize process conditions (pressure, temperature, flow, purity)
- Enforce HSE compliance: toolbox talks, permit-to-work, PPE, incident investigation
- Record operational data, shift handovers, and performance reports
- Coordinate sampling, troubleshooting, and liaison across engineering/maintenance/project teams and contractors
Requirements
- 10+ years in industrial gas, petrochemical, or process plant operations
- Proven supervisory/leadership experience
- Bachelor's/diploma in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
- Strong HSE and risk management knowledge
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
