ERP Implementer/Consultant - Oracle NetSuite

We seek a delivery-focused NetSuite Functional Consultant with strong business and finance understanding.

Experience Level: Junior/Mid-Level (1-6 Years Preferred)

Industry: Business Software / ERP (Oracle NetSuite)

Key Responsibilities

Discovery & Business Understanding

Stakeholder Identification & Engagement

  • Identify and engage key stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Sales, and Management
  • Lead structured discussions with client teams, including CFO-level stakeholders

Requirements Elicitation & Analysis

  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand real business needs; not just requested features
  • Document As-Is processes, pain points, and gaps vs NetSuite standard
  • Translate discussions into structured BRDs and solution design documents

Solution Design (Fit-to-Standard First)

Business Process Design

  • Design To-Be processes aligned with NetSuite best practices
  • Prioritize standard functionality over customization

Process Structuring & System Mapping

  • Define process flows, data structures, roles, and permissions
  • Specify reporting and dashboard requirements
  • Collaborate with technical teams only when necessary

ERP Implementation & Configuration

System Configuration

  • Configure NetSuite modules including:
    • Financials (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets)
    • Order-to-Cash
    • Procure-to-Pay
    • Inventory & Supply Chain
Setup & Customization Control

  • Configure subsidiaries, locations, classes, and departments
  • Set up approval workflows, forms, fields, saved searches, and dashboards
  • Ensure minimal customization and adherence to best practices

Project Delivery & Execution

Implementation Methodology

  • Drive structured project phases: Discovery → Design → Configuration → UAT → Go-Live
  • Maintain clear documentation, decision logs, and scope control

Risk & Timeline Management

  • Identify risks early and escalate when needed
  • Ensure timelines are realistic, structured, and respected

Testing, Go-Live & Validation

UAT & Validation

  • Prepare and execute user acceptance testing scenarios
  • Validate data and system behavior against requirements

Go-Live Ownership

  • Support cutover and go-live activities
  • Ensure client readiness through training and process alignment

Stakeholder Communication & Project Collaboration

Client Leadership

  • Lead workshops and discussions with senior stakeholders
  • Challenge inefficient processes and guide better decisions

Communication & Alignment

  • Act as the bridge between client teams, developers, and Azkatech delivery teams
  • Provide structured updates, risks, and recommendations

Post-Go-Live & Value Realization

Stabilization & Optimization

  • Support post-go-live stabilization phase
  • Identify optimization opportunities and additional scope

Adoption & Value Delivery

  • Ensure the client is using the system effectively
  • Drive long-term value realization and continuous improvement

Analytical & Critical Thinking

  • Apply structured thinking to solve complex business problems
  • Perform root-cause analysis and challenge assumptions
  • Think in processes, not features

Qualifications

  • 3–7+ years of experience in ERP implementation (NetSuite preferred)
  • Experience in at least 2–3 full-cycle ERP implementations
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (mandatory)
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement across Finance and Operations
  • Strong documentation and business process modeling skills
