Responsible for planning and administering physiotherapy treatment plans designed to alleviate pain, restore function, prevent disabilities, and promote overall fitness and health of patients.

Working Schedule : 12 hours per shift and 6 days off per month

Qualifications
1
. Education:
1.1. Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program.
1.2. Current HAAD Physical Therapist license.
1.3. BLS Certificate
2.1. Two year as a Physical Therapist or comparable
2.2. Internship/Skills
2.2.1. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
2.2.2. Thorough knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices.
2.2.3. Working knowledge of computer programs.
3.1. Maintain current CPR.
3.2. Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively.
3.3. Must be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation.
3.4. Ability to communicate effectively in the English/Arabic language in person, by phone and in writing.
3.5. Requires adherence to all policies and procedures, including but not limited to standards for safety, attendance, punctuality and personal appearance.
4.1. Hearing: Adequate to perform job duties in person and over the telephone.
4.2. Speaking: Must be able to communicate clearly to patients in person and over the telephone.
4.3. Vision: Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including visual examination of patient and reading information from printed sources and computer screens.
4.4. Other: Requires frequent lifting and carrying items weighing up to 30 pounds unassisted, including assisting patients when required. Adequate physical ability
including sufficient manual dexterity to perform the requisite health care service, including injections.
4.5. Requires frequent bending, reaching, repetitive hand movements, standing, walking, squatting and sitting, with some heavy lifting, pushing and pulling
exerted regularly throughout a regular work shift.
4.6. Requires exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a clinic environment.
Responsibilities And Duties
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Being responsible for providing, high quality physiotherapy services by formulating, delivering and implementing treatment programs along with evaluating treatment programs along with evaluating treatment programs in conjunction with other members of the team e.g. manual physiotherapy techniques, patient education, exercise classes, and other alternatives options.
- Undertaking a comprehensive assessment of clients, including those with complex pathologies, and use investigative and analytical skills to formulate individualized management and treatment plans. Clinical reasoning is utilized to evaluate a wide range of treatment skills and options in order to formulate a specialized program of care.
- Testing and measuring patient's strength, motor development and function, sensor perception, functional capacity, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency and record data.
- Evaluating patient progress, re-assessing and alternating treatment programs if required. To gather, collate and analyze the information needed to solve a variety of clinical and professional problems, at a highly advanced level.
- Formulating accurate physiotherapy prognoses and recommending best course of intervention and develop comprehensive discharge plans.
- Recording any relevant clinical information obtained from the patient during the course examination, in line with current policies and procedure.
- Conducting daily or periodic checks on equipment. Recognizing, reporting and advising on discrepancies in performance and initiate remedial if required.
- Maintaining necessary inventory of supplies for assigned room, rotation of stock in an orderly fashion, and eliminating outdated items, Reporting shortage of materials to supervisor at earliest convenience, ordering and approving replenishments when necessary, wherever applicable.
- Travelling with patients, whenever required within and outside the United Arab Emirates, for physiotherapy requirement.
