Job Description
Carry out the inspection as per the contractual requirement.
Perform Hold, Witness and Surveillance inspections and tests at manufacturing facilities or construction sites to ensure compliance with ARAMCO requirements and project specifications.
Inspect material and equipment as applicable to ensure compliance with ARAMCO requirements for proper handling, storage and protection at ARAMCO facilities and/or construction sites.
Monitor Contractor's Quality Systems, records and Quality Personnel for compliance with requirements.
Review and evaluate the Contractor's Quality document submittals.
Witness on-site and off-site material and installations tests for compliance with ARAMCO standards.
Record legibly and accurately all controversial and non-complying construction practices, materials and equipment and report to supervisor detailed potential problems for early resolution.
Write inspection reports and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Worksheets (WSs) and Equipment Deficiency Report (EDRs) as needed.
Work safely during inspection activities and to advise others to work safely.
Maintain the confidentiality requirements in each activity during the service period.
Operate to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Statement of Integrity.
Qualifications
BSc degree in Engineering in a respective inspection discipline with at least four (4) years of experience in the relevant inspection discipline. OR two (2) years of industrial/technical College Diploma plus a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant inspection experience.
Thorough knowledge of applicable international standards (Uniform Plumbing Code, AWWA C-950, NFPA 13, etc.,)
Full working knowledge of quality system standards and methods.
Awareness of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
Should have training for inspecting Plumbing systems in the building.
