Location : Goma , DR Congo - AFRICA

Procurement Officer

The job of purchasing officer is at the heart of the logistics chain and consists of acquiring the products and services that the company needs, by negotiating the best conditions of quality, price and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize sourcing and supplier selection process

Find suppliers, source for the items, request for quotations and evaluate quotation

Evaluate the suppliers and make audit

Identity potential suppliers, conduct evaluations and negotiate contracts and pricing terms

Manage vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business needs

Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and vendor information

Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing carrying stock

Requirements

Bachelors degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field

3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles

Eye to detail

Analytical skills

Ability to work independently

Proficiency in excel sheet

French and English speaking is a MUST
