We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Production engineer to join our team. The production engineer reports to the operations manager and ensures safe operation of equipment, works alongside with other engineers in the planning, design, development, and evaluation stages of projects. He/she should be able to diagnose problems and follow instructions in fast-paced environments.
To be successful as a production engineer, you should be passionate about your engineering discipline and demonstrate strong logical and critical thinking skills. Outstanding candidates can keep track of project expenses, write detailed reports, and ensure consistent quality assurance standards.
How You'll Make an Impact
Assuming responsibility of collecting data of different daily activities, providing technical evaluation/analysis, and creation of associated reports.
Participating in operation/production plan creation, and tracking/recording progress.
Support and communicate with staff and engineering teams.
Collaborating with other engineers and workers to develop, test, and improve products and repair processes.
Assist in Performing regular inspection of equipment and scheduling scope of repairs.
Preparation of inspection and repair reports.
Creation of inspection and repair plans. Reporting findings and follow-up on closure of QNs.
What You Bring
A Bachelor's degree in production engineering or equivalent from a reputable college or university.
Previous experience of production engineering with emphasis on reliability, preventive maintenance , planning, and/or fact finding.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Familiar with power generation, turbomachinery, and Industrial applications in general.
Able to interpret/validate drawing and power generation technical data.
Past Academic/Practical experience using (Primavera, Solidworks, Inventor, CAD) softwares would be an advantage.
Familiarity with Siemens Energy EHS systems and processes is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Ability to work with flexible operational hours.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Excellent command of MS office, Excel , PowerPoint.
