Koch Engineered Solutions is looking for a
Production Planner & Shop Estimator to join our KES Manufacturing hub in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
In this role, you will be responsible for all planning activities while ensuring the highest standards of EHS, Quality and Productivity are maintained

What You Will Do
- Develop project plans, objectives, and performance criteria.
- Create detailed work schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate tasks, allocate resources, and track project progress.
- Ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Identify resource requirements, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Allocate and monitor resources efficiently to maximize productivity and meet project goals.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities, ensuring clear communication of expectations.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, clients, and team members.
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct comprehensive scope studies with clients for scope clarification.
- Convene internal meetings with relevant departments and provide complete project details and requirements.
- Prepare schedule data for proposals or contract negotiations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the scope of work.
- Review and assess work sequences with the total project plan.
- Conduct site visits to verify scope of work and work locations.
- Assess access needs, lifting requirements, and insulation removal.
- Develop resource-loaded Primavera P6 micro-execution plans, organization charts, and progress monitoring/reporting protocols.
- Establish baseline schedules for newly awarded projects using WBS and activity coding.
- Verify critical path and interfaces between engineering, procurement, and execution teams.
- Prepare and submit progress reports and S-curves to clients.
- Monitor critical activities based on project schedules and advise project management on potential issues.
- Prepare recovery schedules and corrective action plans.
- Prepare and track invoices and payments.
- Ensure demobilization of resources and submit final project documentation.
- Estimate new project hours for the shop efficiently.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Background in engineering, Project Management in manufacturing industry
- Proven experience in production planning, project management, or shop estimation.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar project management software.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Demonstrated experience in production planning or shop estimation.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience in managing resources and budgets.
- Prior experience with project management tools and software, particularly Primavera P6.
- Familiarity with industry standards and practices.
