2. Hiring Background
We are seeking a highly motivated Production Planning Engineer to manage product-related production planning activities and coordinate with outsourced manufacturing partners. This role plays a critical part in ensuring products are manufactured according to demand forecasts, production schedules, BOM requirements, and delivery commitments.
The ideal candidate is a Mechanical Power Engineer or Electrical Engineer with hands-on manufacturing experience and a strong understanding of production planning, product structures, BOM management, and factory operations.
3. Responsibilities & Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
Product & BOM Management
- Maintain and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) for all product models.
- Ensure BOM accuracy and alignment with engineering and manufacturing requirements.
- Prepare and issue production instructions and product-related manufacturing guidelines.
- Coordinate product configuration requirements with manufacturing partners.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) and product changes from a production planning perspective.
Production Planning
- Develop and maintain production plans based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory requirements.
- Coordinate production schedules with contract manufacturers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor production capacity and support production loading and resource planning.
- Ensure manufacturing plans are aligned with business demand and product availability targets.
Material & Manufacturing Coordination
- Monitor material and component requirements according to production plans.
- Follow up with manufacturing partners to ensure timely component preparation and production readiness.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to minimize material shortages and production interruptions.
Production Monitoring & Reporting
- Track daily and weekly production progress against plan.
- Monitor order fulfillment and delivery performance.
- Identify production delays, bottlenecks, and manufacturing issues affecting product availability.
- Coordinate corrective actions with internal teams and manufacturing partners.
- Prepare production planning and performance reports for management review.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Power) or Electrical Engineering.
- Engineering degree is mandatory.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is mandatory.
- Experience in production planning, manufacturing operations, industrial engineering, or supply chain operations.
- Experience in HVAC, air conditioning, home appliances, electrical equipment, or industrial manufacturing is preferred.
- Experience working with OEM, ODM, or contract manufacturers is an advantage.
Technical Knowledge
- Strong understanding of production planning and manufacturing processes.
- Good knowledge of BOM management and product structures.
- Familiarity with material planning and production scheduling.
- Understanding of manufacturing KPIs, production flow, and capacity planning.
- ERP/MRP system knowledge is preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile
A Mechanical Power Engineer or Electrical Engineer with 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, capable of managing product BOMs, developing production plans, coordinating with factories, monitoring production performance, and ensuring products are delivered on time and according to business requirements. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of product manufacturing processes and production planning principles.
Work Location:10th of Ramadan City, Egypt.
Candidates residing in or willing to commute to 10th of Ramadan City are preferred.
