Description of Main Activities
Project Leader:
The role drives project planning/execution in Yazaki Production Plant in Egypt, execution, while aligning/leading cross-functional teams, customer requirements, and internal standards.
Project Planning
• Develop a comprehensive project plan with key work packages, milestones, and defined timelines
• Consolidate detailed production preparation plans into one plan covering all trial builds and mass production activities
Team Management
• Build and lead the project team to secure collaboration and coordination
• Communicate customer requirements and ensure full adherence
• Maintain clear communication on project timing and deliverables
• Organize weekly cross-functional project meetings
• Interface with the BU on all project-related items
Stakeholder Engagement
• Identify stakeholders and manage expectations through timely and structured communication
Risk Management
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation plans to protect project outcomes
Budgeting and Cost Control
• Develop and manage the project budget
Quality Assurance
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications
Progress Monitoring
• Track progress against the project plan
• Identify deviations and implement corrective actions
Issue Resolution
• Address project issues and conflicts promptly
Reporting and Documentation
• Prepare and maintain all project documentation and reports
• Lead the functional reviews within Yazaki GPMS scope
• Lead lesson-learned cycles to improve future performance
• Complete the monthly Launch Readiness Assessment
• Compile weekly 4M status with corrective actions
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Production/Industrial/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• PMP certification or equivalent preferred
• 4 to 6 years of experience in Industrial environment, preferably Automotive Industries
• Background in Project/Change Management Leadership
• Professional English
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
