We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – BFSI to lead and deliver strategic IT Services and Banking Technology initiatives for leading Banking and Financial Services clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale enterprise application programs, banking technology projects, managed services engagements, and cross-functional teams while ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management, business stakeholders, and technical teams
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and program progress to non-technical audiences
- Present data governance project updates and recommendations to executive leadership
- Chair meetings, and provide clear and concise reports
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for project initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall banks strategy
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of programs and report on progress to senior management
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects, proactively addressing potential challenges
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement appropriate controls
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure project stability, scalability, and performance
- Drive the adoption of best practices for utilizing bank tools to achieve governance objectives
Experience and Education :
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, or a related technology field
- Extensive experience (5-10 years) in project management, or related fields
- Proven track record of successfully leading projects, particularly in banking, financial services, or insurance industries
- Excellent project management skills, including experience with project planning, risk management, and stakeholder management
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to senior management
