Job Description
Conduct incoming inspections of raw materials and purchased components to verify compliance with specifications.
Perform in-process inspections during manufacturing to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Inspect finished products before dispatch to ensure they meet approved drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
Verify dimensions, workmanship, finishes, and assembly quality using appropriate measuring tools and inspection equipment.
Identify, record, and report non-conforming materials or products, and follow up on corrective actions.
Prepare inspection reports, quality records, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Ensure compliance with approved quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and company procedures.
Coordinate with production, engineering, and warehouse teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Monitor manufacturing processes and recommend improvements to enhance product quality.
Conduct final inspections prior to packaging and delivery.
Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and measuring equipment.
Participate in internal audits and support external quality audits.
Maintain accurate quality documentation and inspection records.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards, ISO requirements, and health and safety
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a QC Inspector in a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience in joinery, furniture manufacturing, metal fabrication, interior fit-out, or construction materials is preferred.
Knowledge of inspection and testing procedures.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
