The QC Inspector-Piping/RTR will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of piping and RTR installations in various projects throughout the Gulf region. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality control inspections on piping and RTR installations to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Review engineering drawings and specifications to verify accuracy and completeness before inspections.
- Document and report any non-conformities or defects found during inspections and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and quality assurance teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and compliance reports for audit purposes.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in quality control inspection, specifically in piping and RTR materials.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes related to piping (e.g., ASME, API) and RTR materials.
- Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and pressure testing devices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality control documents.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
