Job Description
Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity take-offs, and cost estimates from drawings and specifications.
Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and submit interim payment applications, invoices, and final accounts.
Evaluate, negotiate, and certify subcontractor and supplier payments.
Prepare and assess variation orders, claims, and change orders.
Review contract documents and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Conduct site measurements and verify completed work for payment certification.
Prepare monthly cost reports, forecasts, and commercial progress reports.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, clients, and procurement teams.
Support procurement by preparing material enquiries, comparing quotations, and recommending suppliers and subcontractors.
Identify commercial risks and recommend cost-saving and value engineering solutions.
Maintain records of contracts, variations, correspondence, and project documentation.
Assist in project budgeting, tender evaluations, and post-contract administration.
Ensure compliance with company policies, project specifications, and UAE construction standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 4–8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in interior fit-out projects within the UAE/GCC.
