Quality Control Manager (Cosmeceuticals Background)

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all Quality Control activities for raw materials, packaging materials, in-process, bulk, and finished products.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage laboratory operations, analytical testing, equipment calibration, and documentation.
• Review and approve specifications, test results, and Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
• Investigate OOS, deviations, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with Production, R&D, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Quality Control team while monitoring laboratory KPIs.
• Support internal, external, and regulatory audits, ensuring inspection readiness.
• Ensure the timely release of materials and finished products while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of Quality Control experience, including leadership experience.
• Previous experience in the Cosmetics, Cosmeceutical, Personal Care, or Pharmaceutical industry is essential.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, ISO standards, laboratory operations, and quality systems.
• Experience handling OOS investigations, CAPA, and quality documentation.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and laboratory documentation systems.
