Job Summary:
Responsible for supporting quarterly financial reporting, including IFRS 9 ECL calculations and stress testing, for various credit portfolios. This role involves preparing financial disclosures, creating internal reports, and participating in key credit risk projects to enhance risk management techniques. The position also requires adherence to both internal policies and CBE regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the team leader in IFRS 9 ECL runs implementation on quarterly basis for BDC credit Portfolios (Corporate, Small, FI, Sovereign, and Corporate Bonds). Moreover, ensure that all implementations meet overall policy guidelines and CBE regulations.
- Prepare the row data for preliminary and financial statement disclosures on quarterly basis.
- Prepare the required reports to the internal departments [e.g. CAD team, Remedial team).
- Calculate the ECL for the proposed transactions, which submitted by business lines to guide them at their recommendations.
- Preparing the row data for the quarterly Stress Testing.
- Participate in all relevant credit risk projects and initiate new internal projects to improve the credit risk techniques to monitor the portfolios.
- Assist the team leader and the Head of Financial Risk Reporting in creating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the department and monitor their achievement on periodic basis.
- Ensures high standards of confidentiality and ethics to safeguard commercially sensitive information.
- Assist the team leader and the Head of Financial Risk Reporting in the development/ finalization of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) between the respective Head Office units/ departments as and when needed, to the extent they relate to the business functions.
- Prepare and review the IFRS9 CBE report, and other CBE reports with Credit Admin Department (CAD) that on quarterly basis. In addition to the Banque Misr reports on monthly basis.
- Assist in applying all types of changes in Regulatory requirements with Regard to Basel accord as communicated by CBE.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in finance, economics or related subjects.
- 3-5 years of experience out of which minimum 2 years relevant banking experience in risk management.
