About the Role:
We are seeking a Risk Officer to join our team and support the company's strategy in building a strong and effective risk management framework. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and monitoring risks that may impact the company's operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework covering operational, financial, and compliance risks.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and propose effective mitigation strategies.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure company policies remain fully compliant.
- Prepare detailed risk reports and present insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with different departments to establish effective risk controls.
- Promote a strong risk-awareness culture across the organization.
- Contribute to business continuity planning and emergency response frameworks.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in risk management or a related field (mandatory).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in risk management or a related discipline (preferably within financial institutions or large corporations).
- Strong knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks as well as international standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strategic thinking ability.
- Strong reporting and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required
