Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead and implement effective sales strategies that enhance the BMW brand presence, drive sales performance, and provide exceptional customer experience. You will be responsible for managing and supporting branch sales managers to ensure they meet sales targets while upholding BMW's high standards of excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction. This role is crucial in maintaining the brand's premium image and fostering growth within the sales team.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy: Work in collaboration with dealer leadership and Brand Marketing to develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies for BMW, aligning them with BMW's global vision and positioning the brand as a leader in the premium motorcycle segment.
  • Sales Management: Directly manage branch sales managers, providing coaching, training, and support to achieve individual branch and team sales targets.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Conceptualize, execute, collaborate on and evaluate marketing campaigns that effectively communicate the brand's core values, generate awareness, and drive customer engagement across various channels.
  • Product Portfolio Management: Oversee the BMW product portfolio, including new product launches, positioning, pricing, and inventory management, to meet customer demands and maximize profitability.
  • Customer Experience: Champion a customer-centric approach, continuously enhancing the overall customer experience through personalized engagement, exceptional service, and customer feedback analysis.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage sales budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve marketing and sales goals while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Event Management: Plan and execute Brand related events, exhibitions, and experiential activities that create memorable brand experiences and enhance customer loyalty.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for sales managers and teams to enhance skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and performance analysis to AGMC BMW Regional and Global teams, presenting key insights and strategies to improve the brand's performance.
  • Ensure adherence & compliance with policies, procedures, ISO standards, Health & Safety requirements, ethical code of conduct & values.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Sales Strategy Execution: Lead and implement sales strategies to strengthen the BMW brand presence and drive overall sales performance, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Team Leadership and Management: Manage and support branch sales managers, providing guidance, coaching, and motivation to ensure sales targets are met and individual performance is optimized.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional and consistent customer experience across all sales touchpoints, aligning with BMW's premium brand values and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track and analyze sales performance against targets, generating regular reports for senior management and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Brand Representation: Uphold BMW's standards of excellence and innovation, ensuring that all sales activities reflect the premium nature of the brand.
  • Market Analysis and Competitor Monitoring: Continuously analyze the market and competitive landscape to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth, adapting sales strategies accordingly.
  • Continuously seeking opportunities for personal and professional development.

Qualifications/Requirements/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in brand management and sales leadership, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Passion for and a deep understanding of the automotive market and customer dynamics in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of sales & marketing strategies, digital marketing, and brand building.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a sales team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven experience in the automotive industry or a similar high-end, customer-focused sector is preferred.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and market research to drive data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
