This position in SO management structure anchors our service driven revenue objectives and reflects the operational quality of SO ORIGINAL. The purpose of this position is to manage and oversee the functions of the salon; assist team members and clients in a professional, courteous, and service-oriented manner, maintain inventory and develop service enhancements for SO clients.
As a senior member of the team you will be responsible for budget preparation. Responsible for business inventory and ordering of supplies according to budget and retail/professional consumption forecast.
As you oversee SO's operational activities with all respective stylists, nail technicians and beauty therapists, you will also be responsible for communicating your learnings of successes and opportunities to all the appropriate levels of the team, with the objective to raise proficiency in the achievement of professional & avant-garde skills.
- Daily Review; missed opportunity report, sales, attendance, salon hygiene, closely monitor team performance with regards to compliance with SO service SOP's, oversee customization deliverables and cash flow.
- Weekly Reports: retail & service sales analysis, weekly inventory check, staff rosters & schedules, attendance review, deep cleaning schedule, weekly department meetings, training reviews, meetings and schedules.
- Monthly Reports: sales targets, training objectives, KPI report (retail, service sales via category, staff performance) calculate targets and commissions, review and refine SOP's trainings, present revenue growth projections to the Founder & CEO.
- Oversee SO floor management while assisting SO hostesses in all business administration needs.
- Develop business leads, via corporate services, events and collaborations.
- Create monthly specials/promotions based on service sales reports.
- Coordinate and schedule resources for events, including all ordering, planning and
- implementation of events (in store).
- Supervisor salon activities with the objective to provide the best experience for the
- customer. Greet guests and assist in answering all questions, concerns and perform point
- of sales functions for facility charge, cash, and credit card sales.
- Monitor opening and closing procedures checklists, restock merchandise and inventory
as needed.
- Maintain equipment through thorough cleaning and replacement of parts.
- Maintain all housekeeping and hygiene standards of the salon.
- Supervises all aspects of the salon functions, including hiring and staffing, training and
- development, coaching, reviewing performance, communication, and project
- management.
- Ensures service enhancements are developed and consistently offered by salon staff.
- Maintain excellent communication channels and be a passionate, professional and
- positive brand representative.
- Work with Senior Management on coaching and development plans for SO employees.
- Implement SO's brand and product offerings with Senior Management via
- merchandising and upselling.
- Supervise of employee technical training maintaining international quality and trends.
- Be an outstanding team role model, build morale and lead by example.
- Job Requirements:
- Previous Salon, Spa, Hospitality or Retail leadership experience required
