Job Summary
Accenture is seeking an experienced SAP BTP Technical Manager to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This is a hands-on leadership role for a seasoned professional with deep BTP expertise across integration, extension, and application development. The role also involves contributing to data science and AI/ML initiatives within the SAP ecosystem as a complementary, secondary capability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end technical delivery of solutions on SAP BTP, including application development, integration, and platform extensions.
Architect and implement solutions leveraging core BTP services (SAP Integration Suite, Extension Suite, Build – CAP/RAP, SAP HANA Cloud).
Define technical design and governance standards for BTP environments, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
Drive integration between SAP and non-SAP systems using APIs, events, and connectivity services.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and quality oversight to development teams.
Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
Contribute to data science and AI/ML initiatives on the platform where required, supporting analytics-driven and intelligent application capabilities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP technical delivery, with proven hands-on expertise in SAP BTP.
Strong experience with core BTP services (Integration Suite, Extension Suite, CAP/RAP, SAP HANA Cloud).
Solid development skills (Node.js, Java, or ABAP for RAP; CDS modeling).
Deep experience in SAP integration, API management, and event-driven architecture.
Sound understanding of cloud security, identity/authorization, and BTP administration.
Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and managing solution delivery.
Preferred Qualifications (Secondary)
Working knowledge of data science and machine learning concepts (Python, ML frameworks).
Familiarity with SAP AI/ML services (SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad, SAP HANA ML).
Relevant SAP BTP certifications.
