Job Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience, with a focus on financial reporting and compliance.
- Proven expertise in preparing financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS.
- Demonstrable proficiency in advanced accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Extensive experience with tax compliance, audits, and financial regulations.

Job Responsibilities
- Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Manage the month-end close process and prepare all required accreditations and reconciliations to guarantee timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of accounting issues and emerging regulations, advising management on compliance matters.
- Lead the preparation and coordination of annual audits and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
- Provide insights into financial performance versus budget projections and assist in the preparation of future forecasts and budgets.
- Monitor compliance with tax regulations and oversee the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns.
- Train, mentor, and supervise junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability within the department.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness within the finance department.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess financial impact on projects and strategic initiatives.
- Respond to inquiries from management regarding financial results, reports, and variances, providing clear and actionable insight.
