About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to lead our accounting operations, oversee financial reporting, ensure compliance with UAE regulations, and support management in strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage end-to-end finance functions independently.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP/AR, GL, and bank transactions.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Lead VAT filings, compliance, and coordination with FTA requirements.
- Manage reconciliations (bank, suppliers, clients, intercompany).
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Review payroll processing, expense claims, and petty cash management.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
- Implement internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to support management decisions.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CPA/ACCA preferred).
- 57 years of progressive accounting experience (UAE experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT laws, and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho, Tally, ERP).
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
