Role Overview
As the Senior Architect Engineer and Head of the Architecture Department, you will:
- Lead & Manage Oversee all architectural design operations and deliverables across multiple project sites
- Mentor & Develop Guide and nurture a high-performing team within the Architecture Department
- Collaborate Work closely with the Technical Director and cross-functional teams (civil, mechanical, electrical, procurement, QA/QC) to ensure seamless project execution
- Drive Excellence Implement best practices, standards, and processes to optimize design quality, innovation, and client satisfaction
- Problem-Solve Lead the resolution of complex design challenges, delivering creative and cost-effective solutions
Requirements
- Experience: 8+ years of hands-on architectural experience in the UAE, with a proven track record in leading medium to large-scale construction projects
- Leadership & Technical Skills: Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring capabilities
- In-depth knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and sustainable design practices
- Proficient with relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, SketchUp, Adobe Suite) and engineering codes (UAE Building Code, LEED, Estidama)
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Architecture (Master's preferred)
- Professional Architect certification or equivalent is a plus
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
