The Senior Commercial Associate will be responsible for assisting the Commercial Manager in the account management of RSI's portfolio of service providers and commercial clients and in drafting new agreements with prospective contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Commercial Manager in the administrative tasks relating to key account management, including approving invoices, validating that reporting obligations are met and basic contractual queries are responded to for the contracts assigned to the role.
  • Manage the assigned internal reporting and tracking obligations as directed by the Commercial Manager (such as the Contract Expiry Report, Monthly Invoice Tracker, Monthly Reports Tracker).
  • Support the Commercial Manager in the administration of the client contract, including drafting and coordinating formal contractual correspondence, notices and other commercial documentation with the client.
  • Validate invoices sent by daai to commercial clients.
  • Coordinate with Finance and contract owners to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment-related issues.
  • Support the Commercial Manager with all contractual queries through acting as the expert on all assigned contracts and preparing responses to those queries for the Manager, contractor or contract owner.
  • Support in, and where required by the Commercial Manager, lead the drafting or amendment of contractual agreements such as Service Level Agreements, Variation Orders, contractual notices, contractual certificates or scope of work documents for new contracts.
  • Assist the Commercial Manager in tracking and performing contractual obligations and identify commercial or contractual risks for the portfolio of contracts assigned to the role, such as commencement certificates or other notices as required.
  • Ensure commercial documentation is maintained in accordance with company governance and requirements.
  • Assist the Commercial Manager in the preparation of RFP scope of work documentation and evaluation of tender responses.
  • Assist the Commercial Manager in business development activities including researching potential clients, partner outreach and development of commercial proposals.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Saudi National.
  • Bachelor's degree in business studies, law or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working within procurement or commercial in an international company or airport including exposure to contract drafting.
  • Advanced English language understanding.
  • Experience in preparing and managing contractual documents.
  • Experience in invoice validation and payment certification.
  • Experience using Oracle is desirable.
  • Highly organised individual with ability to manage and prioritise substantial workloads.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proactive, self-starter and comfortable working independently.
