Responsible for managing and overseeing QA/QC activities for mechanical rotating equipment in both office and site locations. Ensures all rotating machinery and associated systems meet project standards, specifications, and offshore safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality assurance and quality control for rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers, motors, etc.).
- Review engineering documents, specifications, ITPs, and vendor technical submissions.
- Conduct inspections and testing at vendor shops and site locations.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, vendors, and site construction teams.
- Monitor installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities for rotating equipment.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.
- Support offshore projects and ensure adherence to offshore QA/QC procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong experience with rotating equipment and related inspections.
- Proven offshore project experience.
- Knowledge of API, ASME, ISO standards and typical oil & gas QA/QC practices.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
