Become the senior engineering owner of the live Tarasol platform — the system some of Egypt's largest and most prestigious organizations run their daily correspondence on — while the next generation of the product is designed in parallel. This is the deepest-domain engineering seat at IN3: you keep a platform that institutions depend on every working day stable and improving, and your knowledge of it shapes what gets built next.

What you'll d

• Own the live platform end-to-end — codebase, releases, integrations, enhancements, support backlog
• Bring a long-lived enterprise codebase under disciplined ownership without destabilizing customers
• Deliver customer enhancements — preferring configuration over per-customer forks
• Be the senior engineering voice in customer escalations — calm, precise, accountable
• Inform the design of the next-generation platform with the business logic, data, and integration reality of the current one
• Design the data migration and customer cutover approach for the transition

What we're looking fo

• 5+ years of backend-led engineering, with 3+ on enterprise applications deployed on-premises
• Production fluency across Node.js, microservices, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, MS SQL Server, and Redis
• Experience inheriting and improving codebases touched by many hands — with specifics
• Real performance and reliability troubleshooting stories, end-to-end
• AI engineering tools in daily use — particularly for reading and documenting large codebases
• Arabic and English professional fluency; Cairo-based, hybrid
