Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team and handle the mechanical engineering and technical design aspects of LV/MV electrical panel projects. The role involves developing mechanical designs, reviewing technical requirements, coordinating with different departments, and ensuring that all mechanical aspects of projects comply with technical specifications, standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and review mechanical designs, layouts, drawings, and technical documentation for LV/MV electrical panels.

* Study project specifications, single-line diagrams, technical requirements, and client requirements.

* Prepare and review panel general arrangement drawings, fabrication drawings, and mechanical details.

* Prepare and review Bill of Materials (BOMs) and material specifications.

* Select suitable mechanical components, materials, and accessories for panel projects.

* Coordinate with electrical engineers to ensure the proper integration of electrical and mechanical requirements.

* Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal departments when required.

* Review technical submittals, drawings, and documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.

* Identify and resolve technical issues and provide appropriate engineering solutions.

* Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

* Prepare technical documentation, reports, and engineering deliverables.

* Manage and update project-related information through Odoo ERP.

* Support the preparation of technical and commercial offers when required.

* Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

* 3–7 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, electrical panel building, or a related industrial field.

* Strong experience in LV/MV panel mechanical design is highly preferred.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering software.

* Experience with Odoo ERP is preferred.

* Strong understanding of technical drawings, materials, fabrication methods, and mechanical design principles.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent coordination and communication skills.
