Senior Python Developer

A leading automobile manufacturer that is well-known internationally is looking for a Senior Python Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for communicating technical requirements clearly and concisely with internal and external stakeholders. The company is offering innovative mobility solutions by manufacturing a wide range of cars, sports utility vehicles, trucks, buses, and defense vehicles. This role requires at least 8 hours overlap with the PST time zone and can lead to long-term opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:

• Understand the importance of shipping on time and meeting deadlines
• Boost the performance and responsiveness of the web apps
• Understand the workflow and formulate plans to address and execute assigned tasks
• Build and deliver quality solutions and improvements to various software processes
• Build out scalable search solutions and initiatives

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
• 4+ years of years experience working with Python Development
• Experience creating and deploying REST APIs
• Extensive MS SQL Server experience
• Experience with any cloud platform like AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Nice to have some Docker and Linux experience (Shell/Bash scripting)
• Prior experience profiling, debugging, tracing, and or parallelizing/optimizing Python code is desirable
