Role Description

La Gare Design seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor

(QS) for a full-time, on-site role located in Cairo, Egypt. The Senior QS will oversee cost management, prepare detailed project estimates, analyze project budgets, and conduct risk assessments. Key responsibilities include managing contracts, liaising with stakeholders, providing cost control throughout project phases, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines. The role also involves preparing tender documents and assessing project progress to manage costs effectively. Full detailing BOQ and Knows how to extract quantities from BIM Model.

Qualifications

Proficiency in cost estimation, budget analysis, and financial reporting

• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes

• Experience in risk assessment and project cost control

• Proficiency in relevant software such as MS

Excel and construction-specific tools

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with clients and stakeholders

• Attention to detail and the ability to work within tight deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field

• Professional certification, such as MRICS, is a strong advantage

• Significant experience in residential and commercial project environments

• Knowledge of industry standards and local regulations in Egypt is preferre

• Knowledge abour CostX and Bluebeam is a

plus.

BIM Knowledge is a must.
