Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Senior Security Engineers to support cybersecurity operations across endpoint protection, identity security, and network detection platforms. This role is hands-on and operational, focused on monitoring, detection, response, and continuous improvement of security controls across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage security platforms including EDR/XDR, MDM, SIEM, PAM, and NDR tools
- Monitor, triage, and investigate security alerts and events across multiple systems
- Analyze logs and telemetry to identify threats, anomalies, and indicators of compromise
- Review and optimize firewall and WAF rules to strengthen security posture
- Perform system hardening in line with security best practices and benchmarks
- Support incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities and security gaps
- Tune detection rules and improve alert fidelity to reduce false positives
- Maintain documentation for incidents, processes, and configurations
- Contribute to continuous improvement of security operations and monitoring capabilities
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or security engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- EDR/XDR platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike, Defender, SentinelOne)
- SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel)
- PAM solutions (e.g., CyberArk, BeyondTrust)
- NDR tools (e.g., Darktrace, Vectra)
- Experience with endpoint security and device management (MDM)
- Solid understanding of network security concepts, protocols, and attack techniques
- Experience reviewing and tuning firewall and WAF configurations
- Familiarity with incident response frameworks and processes
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GIAC, or equivalent
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation
- Experience in enterprise or SOC environments
