Experience:
- Total: 5+ years
- Relevant: 3+ years
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Health, Safety, Environment, and Legal:Promote and create a safe environment within the department.
- Propose annual quantified safety objectives and action plans, and meet those objectives.
- Ensure strict adherence to UAE laws, FRF rules, and ISO instructions.
- Keep personnel and equipment secure.
- Initiate work permits as required.
- Maintenance and Engineering:Ensure the supply of necessary energy and fluids (Fuel Oil, LPG, Oxygen).
- Maintain all production equipment in good running condition through predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance.
- Record equipment downtime and maintain equipment history cards.
- Organize and optimize the maintenance team.
- Attend to breakdowns during shifts and ensure timely handover of equipment for production.
- Assist the Production and Process teams with technical matters related to plant equipment.
- Implement process modifications as guided by engineers.
- Assist with new equipment inputs and implement new projects as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with Civil Defense requirements and maintain necessary documentation.
- Initiate job cards in Oracle, prepare PRs, daily logbooks, and electricity consumption reports.
- Ensure proper handover of shifts and follow-up on previous shift activities.
- Costs and Inventories Management and Reduction:Assist in preparing procurement and consumption plans for plant equipment.
- Monitor department costs and ensure alignment with the plan.
- Propose and implement improvement programs to reduce equipment downtime, costs, and enhance safety and environmental compliance.
- Make purchase requests for material requirements and follow up with stores.
- Inspect incoming materials and spare parts.
- People:Foster a team spirit focused on continuous improvement, waste reduction, discipline, product quality, and cost reduction.
- Ensure all team members have the necessary competencies for their roles.
- Collaborate with other FRF departments.
- Equipment:Maintain all plant equipment in good running condition through predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Keep all shops and equipment under responsibility in good working, safe, and clean conditions.
Requirements:
- Candidates must be based in the UAE and have a background in the manufacturing industry.
