Software Developer

A well-established company that is manufacturing sustainable solutions to help create a better future for the younger generations is looking for a Software Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating roadmaps across teams to ensure all goals are in sync and cross-department dependencies are managed. The NASDAQ-listed company is manufacturing a new sustainable future with their line of electronic vehicles. The company has successfully raised $10.5bn+ in funding so far. This position requires some overlap with the EST time zone.
Job Responsibilities:

• Develop APIs and web applications to integrate productivity tools across the existing workplace
• Configure application systems like Jira, Smartsheet, Slack, SharePoint, etc
• Help to integrate data sources from different external applications, internal data lake, and data warehouse
• Analyze cloud products and API documentation for developing integrations and added functionality
• Run diagnostics and resolve bugs/customer issues
• Understand the scope, estimate, and plan projects
• Work closely with back-end, front-end, IT, and other teams throughout the organization

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of experience working as a software engineer
• 1 to 3 years of experience building and developing REST and/or web APIs
• Expertise in one or more modern programming languages like JavaScript, Python, or Java
• Experience in working on web services and RESTful APIs
• Must be well-versed with software development technologies, processes, and tools while working on a dynamic team or in a corporate environment
• Strong grasp over software development best practices
• Familiarity with developing AWS and building custom solutions
