What To Expect
The content specialist is responsible for creating Talabat brand's content. Primary objective of this role is to create content that resonates with an existing fan base on some of the key channels yet differentiated and engaging enough to draw in new or underserved consumer groups. In this position, you will work with other content creators to develop new and innovative ideas, producing pieces for all our channels.
The content specialist uses data and established insights to shape the narrative tailored to specific audiences. Further, this role is designed to help build engaging content pieces through copy writing and conceptualizing campaign briefs into a creative direction that are aligned with the Talabat brand strategy and translate the brand vision into easily consumed content pieces that support the evolution of the brand to its next level. Additionally, this role is responsible for creating clear,
compelling, and well distributed storytelling elements across the app, offline touchpoints, and social platforms. The content specialist has one direct report Marcom Manager, and two dotted line reports

What Are We Looking For
Social media channel owner, responsible for managing the social pages and the content that goes live on them, ensuring that we meet brand KPIs (Conversion, engagement, reach, share, number of followers)
Responsible for managing the influencer marketing agency and talent management and their content.
Creates talabat content strategy on a quarterly basis by identifying appropriate tactics for engaging consumers through brand storytelling
Use consumer analytics to determine the best way to engage consumers and increase social media KPI
Work cross-functionally to articulate external key messages, and ensure that content is aligned according across digital touch points.
Responsible for executing and evaluating online content across digital channels like social media pages, influencer marketing content and other digital touch points.
Oversee copy content across digital touch points.
Consult the growth teams on the execution of specific content ideas by developing tool kits, guidebooks and new innovative techniques that aid a strong local collaboration
Create, implement, and share content best practices with local markets and cross functions.
Collaborate closely with other marketing streams to be able to utilize data that reflect consumer insights and ensure they are strongly represented within the quarterly plans
Collaborate closely with the brand planning team to understand consumer behavior and commercial drivers that can be utilized in the strategy formulation
Understanding market trend and come up with creative approaches
What You'll Receive In Return
4 years of work experience working in a role with a focus on digital as well as traditional marketing.
A strong track record of developing creative content.
Creative agency background is preferred
Excellent English writing and speaking skills / Arabic is a plus
Experience with search engine optimization is a plus
Writing, proofreading, and editing skills
Passionate about food and feel comfortable performing background research on relevant industry trends and changes.
An understanding of how to create and maintain a brand style for consistency
Ability to consistently generate popular content ideas
An understanding of how to use tools that can improve content creation efficiency
Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely
Demonstrable project management experience and a high level of organization
Ability to understand consumer behavior across the entire digital landscapeSkills Sets
Degrees in journalism, English, public relations and communication are popular pathways to entry
Storytelling and creativity are a must
