Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose patients with gastrointestinal and liver diseases
- Manage complex conditions including hepatitis, cirrhosis, inflammatory bowel diseases, and gastrointestinal cancers
- Perform and interpret endoscopic procedures and other diagnostic tests as necessary
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient management
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate medical records complying with clinical and regulatory standards
- Stay current with the latest developments in gastroenterology and hepatology
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, or related fields
- Board certification or equivalent qualification in Gastroenterology & Hepatology is preferred
- Valid medical license to practice in Sharjah, UAE
- Demonstrated experience in managing gastrointestinal and liver disorders
- Proficiency in performing endoscopic and diagnostic procedures
- Strong clinical judgment and patient management skills
