Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated
Specialist Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to join a leading healthcare organization in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive orthopedic care for infants, children, and adolescents, delivering high-quality, evidence-based medical and surgical treatment while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric orthopedic conditions, including congenital, developmental, traumatic, infectious, and neuromuscular disorders.
- Perform pediatric orthopedic surgical procedures and provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care.
- Develop individualized treatment plans using both surgical and non-surgical approaches.
- Conduct outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, emergency assessments, and operating theatre procedures.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, rehabilitation specialists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment options, rehabilitation, and preventive orthopedic care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with DHA regulations and organizational policies.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, continuing medical education, and departmental meetings.
- Adhere to DHA standards, international clinical guidelines, and organizational protocols to ensure exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency program.
- Fellowship or recognized subspecialty training in Pediatric Orthopedics.
- Board Certification or equivalent specialist qualification recognized by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
- DHA Eligibility Letter or a valid DHA License as a Specialist Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of post-specialization experience in Pediatric Orthopedics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Turkish Board Certification or specialist training from Turkey.
- Turkish-speaking physicians are highly preferred.
- Previous experience working in a tertiary care or internationally accredited hospital.
- Strong expertise in managing complex pediatric orthopedic cases.
