Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role

  • on experience into supply chain operations and logistics functions to include receiving, distribution, picking, put-away, par management, point of use, and inventory control methods
  • all inventory and receiving related Materials Management systems and analytic information with proper documentation
  • and coordinates activities at assigned store(s).
  • work schedule for store/warehouse staff to ensure continual coverage at all times.
  • storage requirements and conditions at assigned stores in collaboration with store supervisor and staff.
  • paperwork and approves inventory adjustments after completion of stock discrepancy investigations.
  • inventory and stock reports to ensure availability of stock and identify a typical utilization pattern.
  • near expiry, slow moving, and non-moving stock to the Main Store/ Warehouse Senior Officer for proper action.
  • audits and utilization studies as necessary.
  • Consistently complies with Hospital policies, procedures and practices.
  • support and assistance as needed to new initiatives and projects
  • team to ensure all operational and JCIA metrics are met or exceeded
  • all individual operational goals are met or exceeded
  • with concerned departments and services on developing storage stock at the region or facility level.
  • with purchasing staff regarding stock levels and available storage space to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • with requesting departments regarding their Supply Chain needs and recommends product standardization and changes
  • with other stores/warehouses regarding transfer of items between stores to prevent shortage

Qualifications, Certifications and Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related field preferred. Additional related work experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
  • No certifications. Knowledge of PC computer programs to perform spreadsheet analysis and processing of correspondence.Skills required include: aptitude for figures, detail oriented to compile reports, a general knowledge of data processing and personal computers. Must possess good human relations and customer service skills. Must have the ability to communicate well and be prompt and sensitive when handling internal and external requests.
  • 3 years experience, preferably in a healthcare supply chain organization.
