Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate all structural designs, drawings, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company policies.
- Evaluate structural design criteria and conceptual designs to ensure optimal quality, efficiency, and engineering excellence.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the Structural Department's overall work plan and project objectives.
- Monitor and maintain records of the Structural Department's work progress while coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Review and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) submitted by contractors in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with approved structural designs and specifications.
- Review and approve timesheets and expense reports for Civil/Structural Department personnel.
- Participate in coordination meetings with Directors, the Head of Department, and other key stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- 8-10 years of experience in structural engineering within the real estate or construction industry.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale residential developments, including villas, apartment buildings, and associated infrastructure and facilities.
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, relevant design codes, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and AutoCAD
