About the Job

An opportunity has risen at Aldar Marinas for Supervisor, Security. In this role, your will be responsible for overseeing the daily security operations of the marinas, beach club, and public beach areas, ensuring the safety and security of guests, colleagues, visitors, facilities, vessels, and assets. The role includes supervising security officers, monitoring beach and marina activities, handling incidents, and ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local authorities requirements.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Security Officers across the marina, beach club, and beach areas.
  • Ensure the safety and security of guests, colleagues, visitors, boats, yachts, and company assets.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the marina docks, beach areas, parking spaces, guest facilities, and public access points.
  • Monitor CCTV systems, access control systems, and security equipment to ensure proper functionality.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies, incidents, guest complaints, accidents, disturbances, or suspicious activities.
  • Prepare detailed incidents, accidents, and occurrence reports.
  • Ensure proper crowd control during events, peak periods, and special occasions.
  • Coordinate with Lifeguards, Operations, Engineering, and local authorities when required.
  • Enforce company policies, marina regulations, beach safety rules, and security procedures.
  • Conduct shift briefings and ensure effective handover between shifts.
  • Train, guide, and mentor Security Officers to maintain high standards of professionalism and guest service.
  • Ensure all security officers maintain grooming, discipline, and proper conduct.
  • Assist in investigations related to theft, property damage, lost & found, or guest incidents.
  • Monitor contractor and visitor access to restricted areas.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and emergency evacuation procedures.
  • Maintain accurate security logs, records, and reports.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of lifeguards and security personnel, ensuring their readiness, adherence to safety protocols, and effective response to water-related emergencies and incidents.
  • Oversee the maintenance and deployment of rescue and safety equipment, conduct regular training and drills, and monitor water conditions and guest activities to prevent accidents and ensure a secure environment.
  • Collaborate with marina management and external agencies to enforce boat and yacht security, marina regulations, and safety standards, while managing safety messaging, signage, and emergency preparedness for water and beach areas.

The ideal candidate for this position will display the following attributes:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Security Supervisor role, preferably within hospitality, beach clubs, resorts, marinas, or leisure facilities.
  • Valid security certification/license as required by local authorities.
  • Knowledge of marina and beach operations is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies.
  • Familiarity with CCTV systems and security procedures.
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Flexible working shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
