We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager for an Automotive Group. The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain process, from procurement to delivery. This role requires effective leadership and collaboration across departments to ensure the timely, efficient, and cost-effective movement of goods and materials. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain management practices, data analysis, and the ability to adapt to changing business needs. Other duties and responsibilities would include but not limited to:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with business objectives.
Analyze market trends, risks, and opportunities to continuously improve supply chain processes.
Manage demand forecasting and production planning to ensure product availability.
Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts to achieve the best terms.
Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
Identify and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions and risks.
Procurement: Oversee sourcing and purchasing activities to ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
Develop procurement strategies that support sustainability and quality standards.
Ensure alignment with company policies and regulatory compliance in all procurement activities.
Logistics & Inventory Management: Oversee the transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods.
Optimize logistics operations to reduce lead times and transportation costs.
Monitor inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels and reducing excess inventory.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, delivery times, and inventory turnover.
Prepare reports for senior management on supply chain performance, cost savings, and opportunities for improvement.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the production, sales, and finance teams to ensure alignment on supply chain activities.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders to resolve issues and streamline operations.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with other departments.
Leadership & Team Development: Manage and develop a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance and mentorship.
Ensure the team is well-trained in the latest supply chain tools, techniques, and regulatory requirements.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Compliance: Ensure that all supply chain activities comply with legal, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in global trade regulations, tariffs, and shipping laws.
