Job Description

Purpose:

As part of the Talent Acquisition team, contribute to the sourcing and selection of qualified candidates across various departments and locations in line with the defined criteria. Ensure adherence to the firm's talent acquisition policy and process.

Responsibilities:

1- Talent Acquisition:

a. Assume full responsibility for the assigned external, internal and/or temporary vacancies including:

  • obtaining approvals from department heads to announce the vacancy to their teams (internal recruitment only).
  • ensuring that the vacancy(ies) have updated job description(s) from the Talent Management team and confirm it/them with the hiring manager.
  • discussing profile, and qualification requirements with hiring managers (job brief).
  • preparing and sending out the announcement(s) (internal recruitment only).
  • Selecting the most effective sourcing method (posting, searching on recruitment platforms, headhunting, etc.).
  • determining initial longlist of potential candidates.
  • screening longlisted candidates resumes, interviewing and testing candidates and preparing shortlists.
  • sharing HR Interviews feedback with the hiring managers and scheduling business interviews as/if required.

b. Perform reference and global checks for the selected candidate(s).

c. Confirm any compensation and other details with the Managing Director, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development & Reward, Human Resources/GCHRO for issuing the job offers.

d. Get the approval from business head before issuing offer.

e. Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process.

f. work closely with the on-boarding team to ensure all new hires and their Talent acquisition documents are handed over accurately.

g. Organize and maintain an updated records on the applicant tracking system/database of candidates and interns to provide quick and efficient reference for the Talent Acquisition team.

h. Assist in preparation for and representing the firm in employment fairs as directed.

i. for executing the outsourcing process.

2- Reporting, Polices and Workflow:

a. Update the Talent Acquisition database to reflect the developments in his/her active job openings on the applicant tracking system and spreadsheets as required for any report.

b. Assist in the preparation and development of any requested report(s) including but not limited to the monthly TA report.

c. Contribute to designing forms, charts and policies and procedures manuals as required.

d. Comply with all local governmental/country rules and regulations related to hiring and recruiting.

3- Internship:

a. Handle the effective implantation of the firm's summer and winter internship programmes.

b. Responsible for posting, screening, interviewing and offering the interns for the internship programmes as required.

c. Coordinate start-up procedures for successful placements with relevant departments.

d. Responsible for the completion of the internship forms including documentations, evaluations, certificates, etc.

e. Record all the internship data and submit reports as required.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a genuine interest in HR. Formal HR qualification is highly preferred.
  2. 0 - 1 year experience in a similar role, preferably in financial services or a similar industry.
  3. Proven track record in creative sourcing techniques and utilizing different interviewing techniques.
  4. Able to work on culturally diverse environment.
  5. Excellent presentation skills.
  6. Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Power point).
  7. Excellent command of Arabic and English
  8. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening)
  9. Able to work well in teams.
  10. Can identify problems and refer/escalate complex issues to a higher level.
  11. Detail oriented; ensure deliverables are always of a high quality.
  12. Multi-tasker, with the ability to meet changing deadlines, and to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  13. Self-motivated and maintains a positive attitude.
