Team Supervisor -Project Manager for Smart Home Technicians

Role Description:

The Team Supervisor – Project Manager for Smart Home Technicians is a full-time, on-site role based in United Arab Emirates. This role oversees a team of smart home technicians, plans and manages installation projects, and ensures that all smart home systems are delivered on time and to agreed quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating technician schedules, assigning tasks, monitoring site progress, and resolving technical or operational issues that arise during installation. The role also involves liaising with clients to understand requirements, providing regular project updates, and ensuring that system configurations meet customer needs and company specifications. The Team Supervisor – Project Manager is expected to maintain safety and compliance standards, support continuous improvement in technical workflows, and contribute to training and development of the technician team.

Qualifications:

• Strong team leadership and supervision skills, with experience managing technical field teams or installation crews.
• Project management capabilities, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking for multiple concurrent projects.
• Technical understanding of smart home systems and IoT devices, such as remote appliance control, security cameras, sensors, lighting, and shading solutions.
• Customer-facing skills, including clear communication, requirements gathering, expectation management, and issue resolution.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, handle site challenges, and make informed decisions under time constraints.
• Experience working on-site in residential or commercial installation environments, adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Proficiency with basic digital tools for project documentation, reporting, and communication .
• Relevant technical or engineering diploma/degree, or equivalent experience in smart home, low-current systems, or related fields.
• Previous experience in the UAE market or similar regional context is an advantage.
• A valid UAE Driving License.
