We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and experienced Tech Pack Specialist to join our team and support the garment development process from concept to production.
The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in apparel construction, garment specification, and technical documentation, with proven experience in abayas, kaftans, and multiple fashion categories.
This role requires close collaboration with the design, sampling, production, and quality control teams to ensure accurate, production-ready tech packs that meet our brand's quality and fit standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive tech packs including flat sketches, construction details, measurement specs, BOMs (Bill of Materials), trims, and label placements.
Work on design, sampling, and production tech packs across multiple garment types including abayas, kaftans, dresses, outerwear, activewear, and streetwear.
Collaborate with:
Design Team to interpret creative vision into accurate technical documentation.
Pattern & Sampling Team to finalize measurements and ensure correct fit.
Production Team to clarify specifications and ensure smooth handover.
Merchandising & Quality Control to confirm materials, tolerances, and finishing.
Creative Director / Management to align final outcomes with brand standards.
Revise and update tech packs based on fit sessions, sample feedback, and production input.
Maintain version control and organized documentation throughout the product development lifecycle.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in apparel tech pack creation or technical design.
Proven experience developing abayas, kaftans, and additional fashion categories.
Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, grading, and fabric types.
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Excel; experience using PLM systems preferred.
Excellent communication and attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects.
Experience working with overseas factories or vendors is a strong advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or Apparel Production.
Experience in modest fashion, luxury, or contemporary categories.
Familiarity with 3D garment software such as CLO3D or Browzwear.
A strong portfolio or sample tech packs must be provided.
