About the Role: Ensure highquality technical communication by providing accurate, timely, customerspecific technical information that supports inquiry resolution, product interpretation, and precise parts/component selection. Manage the full cycle of customer technical requests identification, assessment, validation, and followup aligned with ECS product capabilities and realtime stock availability to drive faster decisions and improved customer confidence.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and validate correct parts and part numbers for heavyduty trucks to enable precise customer solutions.
- Respond to technical inquiries with clarity, accuracy, and urgency to progress sales opportunities.
- Interpret technical documentation, schematics, and specifications to support selection, troubleshooting, and guidance.
- Conduct structured market research on regional truck specifications, competitor offerings, and aftermarket trends.
- Maintain uptodate product knowledge, including new releases, supersessions, engineering changes, and standards.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation (solution briefs, FAQs, bestpractice guides) for internal knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
- Educational Qualifications and Certifications: Industrial diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or a related technical field.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of heavy commercial vehicle systems and key truck components.
- Knowledge of OEM parts identification, crossreferencing, and VIN/application matching.
- Familiarity with technical drawings, schematics, and component specifications.
- Understanding of troubleshooting basics, rootcause logic, and warranty evaluation principles.
- Awareness of refurbishment standards and component inspection concepts.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Electronic Parts Catalogs (EPC) and OEM parts databases.
- Ability to validate parts compatibility using technical specifications.
- Clear technical communication with sales teams and customers.
- Solid Excel and data analysis skills for reporting and market insights.
- Ability to manage multiple technical inquiries with accuracy and accountability.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required; proficiency in French, or Hindi is an advantage.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in the HDV and/or automotive parts field, preferably with European heavy truck brands.
