Job Description

EcoConServ is seeking a Technical Editor to support its Business Development team in preparing high-quality proposals, expressions of interest, technical submissions, reports, and corporate materials.

The role will focus on reviewing, editing, organizing, and optimizing technical and corporate information to ensure that submissions are clear, accurate, consistent, well-structured, and fully aligned with client and tender requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Editing and proofreading technical and commercial proposals
  • Improving the clarity, structure, flow, grammar, and presentation of submissions
  • Reviewing and formatting experts CVs to ensure relevance, consistency, and compliance with tender requirements
  • Reviewing, updating, and tailoring corporate and individual project experience lists
  • Extracting, organizing, and optimizing project data for proposals, expressions of interest, capability statements, and company databases
  • Ensuring consistency across methodologies, CVs, project references, experience sheets, and supporting documents
  • Checking compliance with tender instructions, evaluation criteria, and submission requirements
  • Identifying gaps, inconsistencies, repetitions, and missing information in proposal documents
  • Coordinating with technical experts and the Business Development team to finalize submissions under tight deadlines
  • Supporting the preparation of capability statements, project profiles, presentations, and other business development materials
  • Maintaining well-organized and up-to-date proposal, CV, and project-reference databases

Required qualifications:

  • Excellent written English and strong editing, proofreading, and technical-writing skills
  • Experience in technical editing, proposal development, consulting, or business development
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to review and organize large volumes of information
  • Ability to understand, summarize, and edit technical content across different sectors
  • Strong data-management and document-organization skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience with international development organizations, environmental consulting, or donor-funded tenders is an advantage
