Job Purpose
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant working environment across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct routine workplace inspections and risk assessments.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and organizational health and safety standards.
- Deliver EHS inductions, awareness sessions, and safety training for employees.
- Monitor emergency preparedness activities, including drills and evacuation procedures.
- Maintain EHS records, reports, and documentation.
- Promote a strong safety culture through continuous communication and employee engagement.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external authorities on EHS-related matters.
- Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and workplace safety practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in Environment, Health & Safety.
- Experience within education, industrial, manufacturing, construction, or government sectors is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional EHS certification is preferred, such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or an equivalent Health & Safety certification.
