Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated Urban Planner to join our growing team. The successful candidate will contribute to the planning, design, and development of urban environments and master-planned communities, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, sustainable, and functional planning solutions across a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop master plans, urban design proposals, and planning studies for a wide range of projects.
- Conduct site analysis, land use studies, zoning reviews, and urban research.
- Develop planning concepts that respond to environmental, social, economic, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate closely with architects, landscape architects, infrastructure, transportation, and engineering teams throughout project development.
- Prepare high-quality planning reports, presentation materials, diagrams, and illustrative graphics.
- Ensure compliance with local planning regulations, municipality requirements, and international best practices.
- Participate in client meetings, design workshops, and presentations.
- Assist in preparing project submissions for planning authorities and regulatory approvals.
- Support the development of sustainable and resilient urban design strategies.
- Stay updated on urban planning trends, smart city initiatives, and emerging planning technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years of professional experience in urban planning and master planning.
- Experience working on residential, mixed-use, commercial, hospitality, or large-scale master-planned developments.
- Strong understanding of urban planning principles, land use planning, and development regulations.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary consultancy environments is preferred.
- GCC experience is an advantage.
